Q: How long are my keys covered?

Over a 12 month period.

Q: How many sets of keys are covered?

One set of keys is covered per donation.

Q: How do you know the lost keys belong to me?

Each keytag has a unique code printed on it so we know that they belong to you.

Q: When does the keytag cover start?

As soon as the keytag is sent to you the cover starts.

Q: What do I do if I lose my keys?

Please call us on 0208 810 5889 or send an email to contact@mykeyreturn.com and we will log your details and keep you informed of any updates of receiving your keys.

Q: How quickly are my keys posted back to me?

On the day of us receiving the keys we will contact you and after passing security questions will send the keys back on the same day in 1st class registered Royal Mail post.

Q: What happens if you cannot contact me?

If we cannot contact you by phone, email or letter then within 28 days we will keep the keys for 12 months and then shall be destroyed by us.

Q: What happens if I lose my keys and they are not found?

We will send out a new keytag after 21 days of you registering that you have lost your keys.

Q: How many times can I lose my keys in 12 months?

If we return your keys more than 3 times then we will ask you to kindly donate again.

Q: What do I do if I move house?

Please contact us and we shall update our records.

Q: Are my details safe?

We adhere to a strict policy and comply fully with the Data Protection Act.

Q: What happens if I lose my keys aboard?

Our service does not cover outside the UK. If we do receive your keys then we will contact you.

Q: What happens when my 12-month cover finishes?

We will contact you near the end of the cover and ask if you would like to renew the service with another donation. If you do not, then we will terminate the keytag and if your keys are found and returned to us we shall contact you and ask for the cost of returning the keys to you.

Q: Does this service cost the charity?

We charge the charity an admin fee for each donation. The fee pays for the cost of returning lost keys and promoting our service.
